Janell not only loves to write, but she loves teaching writing. In fact, she teaches a literary class for homeschoolers,
Grades 5 through 12, called Write It Down! A Literature-based Writing Program.
 
Write it Down! is a fun, interactive, and innovative writing class for home-educated students.
"After years of home educating my own three children, I find myself still teaching writing! Call me crazy or
call me 'crazy in love' with the entire education process -- especially infusing a love for the written and
spoken language into the hearts and minds of young learners."

My mission is simple:

• To inspire a love for writing. As we examine the literary elements of great books, putting what we learn into
  practice by writing sensational sentences, powerful paragraphs, and exceptional essays.
  

• To infuse strength of character through the study of the lives of literary characters; studying their weaknesses,
  strengths, passions, talents, gifts, choices, ingenuity, etc.
  

• To study the lives of great authors; building a bridge from the great minds of the past and present to the
  great minds of the future.
