They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Well, this one sure is! Here I am, husband in the background, talking to our eldest, Candace, last Friday night. Skype is the way to go. . .for sure! Seeing her face on video. . . well, it made me a little happy! Can you tell? Honestly, I love being a Mom. These past few weeks of empty nesting have been good. Don’t get me wrong. I love having time with Rob. I love all the perks: less laundry, less cooking, etc. (I’ve already told you that). BUT, I do love seeing their faces. Last Friday morning, Grant skyped in for a little chat. . .but after a short pleading session from me….”Please let me see your face. Indulge your mother…” he clicked on the video. What a difference. Seeing his face, his grin, and his eyes, was great.

I wonder if this is how God feels when we tune in to Him? When we meet with Him in the private place? Somehow I think it must do the same to His heart. What do you think?
