A Kiss from God

So, right in the middle of Brooke’s Christmas brain surgery recovery, God dropped a little package of love named Esme. For just a few short moments, God swept in and reminded me that life is real, real precious. Having just gotten home from the hospital, her sweet serenade served as a healing hug and a kiss from God.

The Sparkle of Heaven

Oh, what is it about children that brings such amazing joy?  For a few brief moments the sweet sparkle of heaven swirled around Esme, transforming our ordinary living room into something quite miraculous.

Once again, God blew me us a little kiss, in sweet little human form, from heaven, just to remind us that in order for the stars to shine, the sky has to be very, very dark.

Ahhh, the love of God.

Maybe the skies of your life are dark today. I’m going to pray for a little heaven to swirl your way.
