What do Worry and Fog Have in Common?

What do worry and fog have in common?

Worry is a cycle of inefficient thoughts whirling around a center of fear.

I’m asking a simple question today, “What do worry and fog have in common?”

I have been a student of “trusting in God” for a lifetime, but more specifically since April 2000. All alone in a hotel room in Chicago (my husband in business meetings), I opened my Bible and a brand new journal with one mission: search the Scriptures and see what they have to say about “trust.”

A funny thing happened. Over and over again, I found a little-three-letter word that held the most power.

“In.”

It seemed that a majority of the time trust was mentioned, it was linked to this little preposition.

Let Faith Breakthrough the Fog of Your Fears, Today.

Trust is a cycle of efficient thoughts whirling around a center of faith.

I reached back into the VLOG archives today, to share my thoughts and ideas about what worry and fog have in common. This isn’t pop psychology we’re talking about here, it is TRUTH based on the power of God’s Word. There is such a big difference, isn’t there?

Maybe you feel as though you are in a fog of fear today. I’ve been there—and it is very, very scary. I hope my story helps your story. That is why we go through our own fog of fear, so we can call back to those in our spheres of influence—assuring them they, too, can get through.

P.S. Please share your thoughts with us, we’d love to hear them. Right here, right now. You have secrets you’ve learned in your fog of fears that will help all of us!
